Astrodienst - An unbelievably useful site. Free charts and basic horoscopes, and the definitive atlas for latitude, longitude and time zone information.
Astrolog32 - A superb - and totally free - astrology program. It has recently been enhanced by Antonio Ramos, an astrologer in Ireland. Astrolog has been developed over the years by a variety of enthusiasts, who all provide a tremendous service to the astrological community.
Halloran Software offers a range of astrology software. Astrology for Windows has two versions - an older shareware version, and a full commercial version.

German Astrology Association on-line database - The DAV (German Astrology Association) have almost 30,000 records of famous people in their database. Chris converted this to HTML format for them, which you can access using the link above at no cost.
Lois Rodden’s Astro Databank - The full databank is a commercial product, but this site also has quite a few “free samples” and is a good place to look for celebrity data if you don’t want to purchase the full database.
Astrologer.com website - This site has various links for professional astrologers, including the Astrology Association of Great Britain.
Ephemeris generator - Part of NASA’s website, this will generate an ephemeris for any planet, asteroid or centaur. The scientists at NASA don’t really approve of astrology, so they don’t make the information easy to find - read this article before attempting to use this site.
Swiss Ephemeris - If you’re a programmer and want to write your own astrology programs, this programming interface is the one to use. It’s free for personal use.
ONLINE ASTROLOGY GROUPS
alt.astrology.moderated - This is an excellent newsgroup if you have newsreading software. It is friendly and helpful, and has posters of all levels and experience.
Node-o-Rama - Friendly, and has lots of useful contributions. You need to “subscribe”, as is the case in most on-line groups, but this doesn’t cost anything and doesn’t mean you’ll be inundated with unwanted e-mails!
Yahoo! Groups - There are a number of Yahoo! groups devoted to astrology - to join, you have to subscribe to Yahoo! Groups first at www.groups.yahoo.com (again, free of charge). The biggest of the astrology groups is Conjunction, and you can subscribe to Conjunction by sending a blank e-mail to conjunction-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You can then edit your options at the Yahoo! Groups site to determine whether you want messages to the group e-mailed to you, or
whether you want to read them at the website.

One of the best ways to learn more about astrology is to go along to an astrology group - there are many all over the country, but the following are relevant if
you live in Bristol or the West:
Arcturus Rising - an astrology group for Bristol and the West. Meets monthly in Bristol.
Aquarius Severn - one of the longest established astrology groups in the UK, based in Cheltenham.
