Our popular Foundation Course is a correspondence course available to students worldwide, and works by providing you with our lessons by e-mail.

On signing up, you will be allocated a personal tutor. This tutor will send you (by e-mail) a Welcome Pack, giving an overview of the School, the Foundation Course and providing you with contact details. You are encouraged to contact your tutor thoughout the course by e-mail to ask questions, provide feedback and submit assignments.

You can do this course in your own time. Each time you complete a lesson, you will be e-mailed your next lesson. This will include:

• Detailed handouts
• A practical assignment
• A web page giving further supporting information and links for you to research

You can work through this lesson at your own pace, and you can contact your personal tutor for advice and to submit your assignments. There is also an online student discussion group where you can share ideas with other students.

Your tutor will contact you with feedback from your assignments.

Students successfully completing the School’s Foundation Course will be awarded a Certificate.

The course fees for the Foundation Course are £60 per semester. The Foundation Course consists of a total of three semesters, and you pay for each semester in advance.

Payment may be made by credit card or cheque.

Cheques can only be accepted from UK residents with a valid UK current bank account, and must be in Pounds Sterling.

Credit card payments can be accepted in Pounds Sterling, Euros, or US Dollars, and will be collected via the PayPal system using a secure website. The Euro and US dollar amounts will depend on the prevailing exchange rate.

SECOND SEMESTER

Lesson Seven: Aspects

Lesson Eight: Chart interpretation

Lesson Nine: Eclipses, the Moon’s phases and the Moon’s nodes

Lesson Ten: Chart patterns and configurations

Lesson Eleven: Planetary dignities, exaltation and fall, retrograde planets

Lesson Twelve: Major asteroids and Chiron, quiz

THIRD SEMESTER

Lesson Thirteen: Mid-points and Part of Fortune

Lesson Fourteen: Predictive astrology: transits

Lesson Fifteen: Predictive astrology: progressions and solar arcs

Lesson Sixteen: Solar returns

Lesson Seventeen: Basic synastry and illustration, composite charts

Lesson Eighteen: Putting it all together: illustration of chart interpretation.

A Foundation Certificate will be awarded to those who complete exercises provided and successfully complete the three semesters.
